"Having tried various types of bunker drainage with varying success, we looked into the bunker plug to rectify a problem with our 10th greenside bunker. This is a deep bunker that after sufficient rainfall would fill up with water and take our greenstaff considerable time to pump out and get back into play, having found the existing drainage and made sure it was clear the bunker plug was installed with ease. The bunker plug has been in operation through the winter months and not once has the bunker held water, very little maintenance is needed to keep the plug working properly but is checked and cleaned every time the bunker is raked, I will not hesitate to use them again in problematic bunkers."

"The idea of solving the massive and time consuming problem of flooded and contaminated bunkers in a quick, effective and affordable fashion, has long been one of my and I know many other Course Manager's ambitions but until the advent of Bunker Plug, there was nothing of the like available in the market place.
As many people know, Jeremy Parkman developed Bunker plug, with our support, here at Dale Hill to tackle this particular issue. From conception, the use of prototypes and right through to the final design, we have been trialling the product at my course for over three years. To coin a phrase "it does do what it says on the tin" and does it extremely well. Bunkers stay dry, can always be raked and contamination is much reduced. We will definitely continue to fit Bunker Plugs in all our other problem bunkers. It's a great new product which once known about, will be fitted on many courses both here and abroad."

"One sand bunker on our Graduate course was particularly prone to flooding due largely to 'run off' from the surrounding fairway (even though we had already installed a 'cut off' drain)
Despite all other attempts to improve the bunker drainage the problem could not be resolved.
Not only was this a huge inconvenience for players but when the water eventually subsided full reparations were required. This not only increased our greens staff workload at already busy times (as summer flash floods seem to be more prevalent) by having to remove silt etc, but the cost of re-sanding was a further financial penalty.
At the 2010 BTME show we saw the Bunker Plug and felt that this may help our problem.
The word 'help' being a huge understatement!! It has 'cured' our problem.
Not only do we now have a dry bunker even during the worst of downpours but my greens staff no longer have to endure the task of repairing bunker damage AND we have received not one single negative comment about the presence of a 6" grating in the bunker from players"

Naturally we are all delighted.
